VisuNet GMP - Form Meets Function

VisuNet GMP operator workstations now include widescreen displays for Zone 2/22

The VisuNet GMP product line from Pepperl+Fuchs is being extended. VisuNet operator workstations with a 55.9 cm (22 inch) screen designed specifically for displaying complex process images are now available for Zone 2 and 22 hazardous areas. Along with meeting the requirements for regulated industries, other features of the operator workstations include: Safe area or Zone 2 and 22, conventional 48.3 cm (19") or wide screen 55.9 cm (22") display, panel PCs, remote monitors, and monitors with or without KVM extenders.

The VisuNet GMP product line has been developed for use in regulated industries. All the design features comply with current GMP guidelines (EudraLex Volume 4, Chapter 3). By material selection and design of surfaces and architecture of the complete system accumulation of liquids and dirt should be prevented.

Cleaning, maintenance, inspection, and repair of mechanical components is easy and safe; same for disinfecting, pasteurisation and sterilization. The measures of implementation of GMP requirements are documented in an appropriate self declaration.

Numerous country-specific keyboard layouts, mouse versions, as well as mounting versions are available, and can be combined if required. The housings of the operator workstations are designed to provide IP65 protection and equipped with an antibacterial foil keyboard.

GMP stands for Good Manufacturing Practice and is a set of guidelines for assuring the quality of production processes. It follows the guidelines issued by the European Commission (Europe) and the FDA (United States).
